Information we collect

FSTA Rent Car is responsible for the personal information used for your rental. We collect contact and driver details, selected vehicle, dates, pickup and return locations, insurance and extras, payment references and rental communications. License, passport and incident documents are collected when needed for the rental, cross-border documents or a claim. Required form fields are marked; without the necessary contact, driver or travel details we cannot complete the relevant booking or documents.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to your request, check availability, prepare and perform the rental, create invoices and contracts, provide support and handle claims. The basis is the steps you request before a contract, contract performance, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention and service operation. Consent applies where legally required. Customer invoice or contract emails are sent when our team explicitly sends that document; we do not send automatic booking, payment or receipt emails.

Website storage and measurement

The site uses cookies and browser storage for booking progress, security, referrals and advertising measurement. It records campaign identifiers, landing pages and referral origins and may link them to a booking. It also uses Google measurement services, Smartlook session recording and ClickCease fraud prevention on public pages. Private booking and checkout routes have additional privacy controls. Cloudflare provides hosting and security; Google reCAPTCHA helps prevent automated abuse. You can manage storage through your browser settings; disabling necessary storage can affect booking features.

Sharing and international processing

We do not sell personal information. We share necessary information with hosting and database providers, PayPal for invoices and payments, email and communication providers, analytics and security providers, and rental, border, insurance or recovery partners when needed. Authorities and professional advisers receive information where required for legal obligations or claims. These providers and partners may process information in Georgia, other countries on your route, and countries where their services operate. We use the safeguards and transfer grounds required by applicable law.

Retention and security

We retain information for the booking and rental, then for the accounting, legal, insurance, fraud-prevention or dispute period that applies to the record. Driver documents and inquiries are kept only while needed for their purpose or a legal obligation. Attribution and security records follow the configured retention periods. We protect information through encrypted connections, access controls and restricted internal access.

Your rights and contact

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or other applicable privacy rights, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Legal recordkeeping obligations may limit deletion. Contact us below; we may verify your identity before responding. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority, including Georgia’s State Audit Office, or a court.
