Getting Started
The adventure begins at Kutaisi Airport, where our team will be waiting to take you to the base in Chiatura, about 60 km away. There you will meet the rest of the group, ask questions, and hear about what the coming days have in store. We believe off-road travel is one of the best ways to spend a vacation together.
What to Expect on the Road

Included

- Meals and drinks (lunch approx. €8, 1 liter of wine approx. €5)
- Hotel stays if preferred over camping (approx. €18 per night with breakfast)
Important Information
This trip involves off-road driving through western Georgia. While the routes are family-friendly and much gentler than our extreme expeditions, participants should still be comfortable with unpaved roads and outdoor camping conditions. The vehicle comfortably fits 4 people, or 5 if packed tightly.
The Route
Kutaisi Airport
Our team will meet you at the airport and take you to the FSTA expedition base in Chiatura.
Chiatura Expedition Base
This is where the trip begins. Settle in, meet the rest of the group, and enjoy a welcome drink together.
Batumi
One of the oldest, most famous, and most beautiful cities in Georgia. A major Black Sea port and the capital of the autonomous republic of Adjara. Here we plan to visit the famous dolphinarium.
Anaklia
Another seaside resort we visit after Batumi. A surprising city of space-age buildings and modern hotels. Water fun awaits at the Anaklia Aquapark.
Mestia
The capital and center of Upper Svaneti. During this part of the trip, you will see picturesque mountain ranges, alpine valleys, and cultural monuments such as ancient houses, towers, and churches with beautiful frescoes that are usually missed on typical tourist routes.
Ushguli
Known as the highest village in Europe at 2,200 meters above sea level. A truly unique and unforgettable place.
Prometheus Cave (Kumistavi)
One of the largest caves in Georgia. A spectacular underground world worth exploring.
Okatse Canyon
Almost 16 kilometers long, and in some places up to 100 meters deep. The views are breathtaking. A real challenge for those afraid of heights, but absolutely worth it.
Rafting in Martvili Canyon
A majestic canyon where you will travel leisurely by raft through stunning natural scenery.
Chiatura Base
We return to our base for a traditional Georgian supra. Wine will flow freely and there will be endless toasts. A perfect farewell to the trip.
