Day 1: Tbilisi and Mtskheta Start with a walking tour in Old Tbilisi (3-4 hours). Experience the multicultural vibe of Tbilisi, located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Key sights include Metekhi Church, the Mother of Georgia, Narikala Fortress, and the Bridge of Peace. Learn about the history of Abanotubani, known for its sulfur baths. Visit Meidani square and the Sioni Cathedral, one of the city's oldest churches. See Anchiskhati Church, the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi. Conclude at the Marionette Theater, noted for its unique architecture. Afterwards, visit the Chronicles of Georgia monument overlooking Tbilisi Sea, a popular spot for photos. Continue to Mtskheta, the historic capital, just 20 km from Tbilisi. Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where a part of Christ’s robe is believed to be preserved, and Jvari Monastery, known for its architectural harmony with nature. The old town's streets and revitalized marketplace offer a journey back in time. Return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Kakheti - The Wine Region Travel to the Kakheti region, the heart of Georgia's 8,000-year winemaking history. The scenic route through Gombori Pass offers breathtaking mountain views. Explore the 11th-century Alaverdi Monastery, set against the backdrop of the snow-covered Caucasus Mountains. The next stop is Telavi, once the center of the Kingdom of Kakheti and an important administrative hub during the medieval period. Visit Batonis Tsikhe, the Kakhetian King's fortress and palace. Enjoy dinner and a wine degustation at a local winery before an overnight stay in Telavi.

Day 3: Kakheti - More Wine and Historical Charm Near Telavi, visit Tsinandali Estate, a 19th-century historic site with stunning gardens and a museum. Learn about the beginnings of European-style winemaking in Georgia here. Next, explore Sighnaghi, a historic town surrounded by ancient defensive walls, once a hub for merchants and craftsmen. Known as the "City of Love," it offers 24/7 wedding services and stunning views of the Alazani Valley. Visit Bodbe Monastery, a sacred site near Sighnaghi where St. Nino, who preached Christianity in Georgia in the 4th century, is buried. The nearby spring named after St. Nino is believed to have healing powers. Return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Georgian Military Road to Gudauri Embark on a journey along the Georgian Military Road, a strategic highway connecting the South and North Caucasus, famous for its breathtaking landscapes. The journey begins at Jinvali Reservoir, a picturesque spot for photography. Nearby, discover Ananuri, a late medieval fortress complex with a well-preserved church. If the weather is clear, witness the stunning confluence of the black and white Aragvi rivers near Pasanauri, where rafting is also an option in summer. The final stop of the day is the historic Gudauri Panorama, also known as the Friendship Monument, a vibrant mosaic offering breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains. Stay overnight at the Gudauri ski resort.

Day 5: Kazbegi and Dariali Gorge From Gudauri to Kazbegi, traverse Jvari Pass and explore historic villages. A cable car (Gudauri-Kobi line) offers scenic mountain views. Kazbegi Municipality is a popular year-round destination. See the majestic Kazbegi Glacier. Visit the 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church, visible from Stepantsminda, reachable by hiking or a high-clearance vehicle. Travel to Dariali Gorge, a spectacular canyon on the Georgian-Russian border with towering mountains. Visit the newly built monastery that blends with the landscape. Explore Truso Valley with its beautiful landscapes, mineral springs, ancient ruins, and sulfuric mini-lake; jeep tours and horse riding are available in summer. Gveleti Waterfalls can be accessed via a scenic walking trail. Return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay (approximately 3.5 hours drive).
