Is car rental in Izmir self-drive?

You drive the car yourself. A second authorized driver can be added free after approval; Driver Service is a separate paid option at checkout.

Can I book a one-way car rental?

Select your pickup and drop-off cities when requesting dates. Any applicable vehicle relocation charge is itemized in the quote.

How does cross-border car rental work?

If your trip crosses a national border, select Cross Border and tell us your route. Our team reviews the route and vehicle papers; written FSTA approval and an open permitted crossing are required.

Which insurance can I choose?

Standard Insurance is for paved-road rental, while Full Off-road Insurance is optional for paved and off-road use, subject to its conditions. Read the detailed coverage and exclusions at checkout.

Can I add roof tents and camping equipment?

You can add a roof tent, ground tent, camping kit and baby seats at checkout. Read compatibility and package contents for the selected vehicle.

How is my rental total calculated?

Your total uses calendar dates, including the pickup and return days. It itemizes rental, any vehicle relocation, and selected insurance and extras; changing your dates or selections recalculates it.

When is my booking confirmed?

A request is not a reservation. The team replies by email; FSTA accepts the booking in writing and provides payment instructions.

Is a card deposit required?

No card security deposit is blocked. This is separate from the rental payment.
